We assume this only happened because it doesn't take much make-up for the role. Mischa Barton already looks like a beat down hooker to begin with so kudos to casting for finding a way to save some funds. Anyway, someone hired her a$$ for a prostitute role on Law & Order: SVU.
NBC confirms to Zap2it that Barton has been cast as a prostitute named Gladys on the March 3 episode of "Law & Order: SVU." Word is, Gladys has a secret which will create some sort of trouble for Benson. (source)
