The greatest babe in all of the land, Betty White, will be hosting an episode on the upcoming season of Saturday Night Live. Facebook fans can now celebrate as the Facebook page "Betty White to Host SNL (please?)!" has almost half a million of supporters and was the key in making it all happen.
White shared the good news at Elton John's annual Oscars viewing party on Sunday night.
"I don't know why or how," she says, "but it's been wonderful," she said of her sudden currency.
Fans launched a massive online push, including a Facebook group, for the 88-year-old legend to host "SNL" after she appeared in a popular Snickers ad during the Super Bowl. (source)
