What a terrible tragedy. I remember being 3-years-old and dreaming of Corey Haim as my future hubbie. Sadly for all of you 80s obsessed pop culture kids out there like myself, Haim died early this morning in California. He lost his long struggle with drug addiction.
Actor Corey Haim, 38, is dead after an accidental drug overdose. A spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Coroner confirmed that Haim, who battled substance addiction for several years, was found unresponsive in an Oakwood apartment and pronounced dead at Providence St. Joseph’s Medical Center at 2:15 a.m. this morning. His mother, according to FOX station KTLA, was in the apartment at the time. (source)
