Rihanna celebrated her 21st birthday this past weekend, without Chris Brown at her side. She did however, receive a call from the woman beater, himself. Brown called to wish Rihanna a happy birthday, showered her with gifts and apologize again and again. He bought her a diamond bracelet and necklace as well as an iPod Touch, filled with over 10,000 songs to help her forget about the whole 'incident.' And for whatever reason, sources say Rihanna is trying to reconcile with Brown. Dumb-ass!
As Hollywood’s biggest stars primped for the Oscars, Rihanna gathered a celeb-free circle of friends Friday to celebrate her 21st birthday. And while her ex, Chris Brown, wasn’t on the guest list, the pop star couldn’t escape him completely.
“Chris called Rihanna to wish her a happy birthday,” an insider tells us. “He’s absolutely trying to get back into her good graces. He knows he’s very much in the doghouse right now, and is doing everything he can to show her how sorry he is.”
But Brown seems to think a few well-placed birthday gifts can salve his ex’s wounds. He has already sent the “Good Girl Gone Bad” singer a diamond bracelet and necklace, an insider tells us, as well as an iPod Touch. Plus, Brown’s mom, Joyce, who is said to adore Rihanna, sent over a bouquet of flowers.
Sound creepy? Unfortunately, the attention seems to be working. RiRi may just reconcile with Brown, say sources. (source)

It is beyond me how such beautiful women are attracted to this type of human male. When I was Rihanna's age, I could not get a girl of her apparent caliber to even look at me. I have never hit a woman,nor do I believe that a woman should hit a man. But now that I am financially secure, and head of a corporation, I'm not so sure that a girl of Rihanna's caliber would have sufficed- If she was attracted to a guy who roughed her up every now and then.2. lilpoohbear2008
