I doubt John Mayer knows who his apparent publicist is because if he had one, he/she would have made sure none of what he said to Playboy was published. Not only did John dish on Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson, but he went on and on about not being 'attracted' to black girls---and he didn't stop there.
When asked if “black women throw themselves at you,” he replied with, “I don’t think I open myself to it. My d--- is sort of like a white supremacist. I’ve got a Benetton heart and a f-----’ David Duke c---. I’m going to start dating separately from my d---.”
But he also said that black people love him, and tried to sum up what it means to be black: "It's making the most of your life, not taking a single moment for granted. Taking something that's seen as a struggle and making it work for you, or you'll die inside. Not to say that my struggle is like the collective struggle of black America. But maybe my struggle is similar to one black dude's." (source)
He also said Jennifer was an absolute sweetheart describing her describing her as "the most communicative, sweetest, kindest person". But when it came to Jessica, he had much to say solely about their sexual life which to him was so crazy it was like "sexual napalm." And for some reason I just vomited in my mouth a little. Let's vote. John during this interview: drunk, stoned, or both?
