Despite internet rumors, Patrick Swayze is still alive and has been busy writing a memoir with his wife Lisa Niemi of 30 years. He will will write about his childhood to adulthood and of course he'll discuss his cancer described as "his brave fight against a diagnosis of stage-four pancreatic cancer, from which he has gleaned wisdom and has remained resolutely optimistic,".
Patrick Swayze was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer last year and has received three doses of chemotherapy but is still battling the disease. After made public, rumors speculated that he would only live weeks thus proving those rumors wrong. Again those rumors have resurfaced so Patrick alongside his wife and two dogs released a photo from his New Mexico Ranch to once again debunk those false reports.
"With everything I've been fortunate enough to do in my life, and covering such a wide range of diverse subject matters, I'm told that my story has been inspirational to people," the actor said in a statement. "I will write from my heart about these experiences and, aside from the sheer pleasure of doing it, if people happen to garner inspiration from it, or incentive, or find a new way to love, it would be wonderful."
